Elegantia collection is made of Italian Epsom leather which comes from the male calfskin. Dating back to 1913, the famous fashion house named Prada invented this leather type. Prada himself held the patents for a while. Nobody could use it, but once they were gone, naturally everyone jumped on them and gained a lot of popularity due to larger access.
